This gentle salicylic acid cleanser for face & body is ideal for dry skin, rough and bumpy skin, and skin prone to
redness.
The CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser is formulated with salicylic acid to help exfoliate the skin and remove dirt
and dead skin cells on the skin without compromising or striping moisture from
the skin’s natural moisture barrier,
leaving the skin feeling clean, smooth and hydrated.
This salicylic acid cleanser is also formulated to include hyaluronic acid to hydrate and retain moisture and 3
essential ceramides to moisturise and help support the skin’s moisture barrier.
This unique combination of ingredients makes CeraVe SA Cleanser an effective way to remove oil, dirt and
makeup as well as smooth and improve skin texture.
Dead skin cells can build up on the skin surface and create dry patches. Salicylic acid is a BHA which helps in
exfoliation of this dead skin and also helps to diminish dry patches and improve skin texture.
This BHA cleanser can penetrate deeper into pores than AHAs to enable a deep cleanse and remove built
up residue.

CeraVe salicylic acid cleanser is suitable for very dry, rough and bumpy skin.
Also suitable for skin prone to Keratosis Pilaris.
Active Ingredients :
Salicylic Acid
Salicylic acid has keratolytic and comedolytic properties and works by loosening and breaking apart keratin
cells in in the outer layers of the skin to enable skin to visibly renew. The CeraVe salicylic acid BHA cleanser
breaks down the keratin bumps that have built up around hair follicles on the skin.
Ceramides
Ceramides are lipids (fats) found naturally in the outer layer of the skin. This gentle salicylic acid face & body
wash contains ceramides 1, 3, 6-11 to help replenish lipids, prevent further moisture loss and also help to create
a strong, healthy, skin moisture barrier.
People with dry skin can have lower levels of ceramides in the skin
Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic Acid is a humectant and serves to draw in and retain water to keep the connective tissue moist.
This salicylic acid cleanser with hyaluronic acid hydrates dry, bumpy, rough skin and helps to create a strong,
healthy, skin moisture barrier.

HOW TO USE :
How to use the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser:
1. Use a coin sized amount of the salicylic acid face wash on wet skin and gently massage into
the skin for a few seconds.
2. Use warm-to-lukewarm water to gently rinse the off the salicylic acid cleanser.
3. Pat don’t rub the skin to gently pat dry with a soft cloth.
4. Follow with the application of CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum as the second step
in your daily routine for that added hydration and to lock-in moisture.
5. Use the PM Facial Moisturising Lotion and apply it to your face and neck for a hydrated
and moisturised feel.
